Description

The following values are to be mapped with each policy, and their respective references can be found in the Microsoft Documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/policy-configuration-service-provider)

  • area - Policy area is used in the LocURI (eg: ./Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/<area>/)
  • format - Data type used to send the device payload (eg: chr or int)
  • defaultValue - Default value is used for policy revoke (eg: 0 or 1)
  • LocURI - The LocURI of a policy is needed to successfully send policy data to the device (eg: ./Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/Camera/AllowCamera)
